As an indispensable specialized vehicle in construction projects, the operating condition of a truck mixer directly impacts construction efficiency and safety. A well-defined maintenance cycle not only extends the vehicle's service life but also reduces the risk of breakdowns, ensuring stable transport operations.

Daily Inspection and Short-Term Maintenance (Every Shift/Weekly)

Before each trip, the driver should check the mixer drum for smooth rotation, the hydraulic system for leaks, and the tire pressure for proper operation. They should also clean any remaining concrete from the vehicle body. Weekly checks should focus on the drive belt tension, brake system sensitivity, and lubricant level to ensure key components are in good condition.

Regular Maintenance (Monthly/Every 1,000 km)

Every month or every 1,000 km, replace the hydraulic oil filter, check the reducer gear oil quality, and re-grease the mixer drum bearings. Also, clean the air filter to prevent dust from entering the engine and causing wear. Quarterly, conduct a thorough electrical inspection to prevent short circuits caused by moisture or vibration.

Medium- and Long-Term Maintenance (Six Months/Yearly)

Every six months, replace the engine oil and filter, inspect the drive shaft universal joint for wear, and thoroughly clean the tank interior to prevent concrete solidification from affecting volumetric accuracy. A comprehensive annual overhaul should include brake pad thickness measurement, suspension system adjustment, chassis rust prevention, and, if necessary, replacement of aged seals.

Adaptation for Special Environments

When operating in high-temperature or highly corrosive environments, shorten maintenance intervals, increase the frequency of coolant freezing point testing, and strengthen maintenance of the tank's anti-corrosion coating. Strictly adhering to the manufacturer's recommended maintenance manual and dynamically adjusting maintenance intervals based on actual operating conditions is the key strategy for ensuring efficient operation of the concrete mixer truck.
