Also, check the water level in the water tank and the lubricating oil level to ensure the equipment is in optimal condition.
2. Loading and Transport Specifications
When loading concrete, control the feed rate based on the mixer drum's capacity to avoid overloading. Maintain a constant speed during transport, slowing down when turning or going up and down hills to prevent a shift in center of gravity that could cause a rollover. The mixer drum should rotate continuously at a low speed (usually 3-6 rpm) to prevent concrete segregation or solidification. In the event of prolonged traffic jams, manually rotate the drum every 10-15 minutes.
3. Unloading and Cleaning
Upon arrival at the destination, first ensure the unloading area is flat and solid, then rotate the mixer drum in the reverse direction (usually 8-12 rpm) to complete unloading. After unloading, thoroughly clean the inside and outside of the mixer drum, especially the seals and discharge port, to prevent any hardened concrete from caking and affecting subsequent use. When cleaning, pay attention to the angle of the high-pressure water jet to prevent damage to electrical components.
4. Regular Maintenance
After daily operation, check the hydraulic oil level, belt tension, and bolt tightness; lubricate bearings and transmission components weekly; and perform a comprehensive monthly inspection of the electrical and hydraulic systems. During extended periods of non-use, drain any accumulated water from the drum and perform rust-proofing on metal components.
