Tanzania Trucks Ready For Shipment

According to the person in charge of the Export Department of Liangshan Big Shark International Trading Co., Ltd., the vehicles ordered by the Tanzanian clients this time are Sinotruk HOWO 8×4 heavy-duty dump trucks, all of which are high-quality used vehicles selected through strict screening. Each truck is equipped with a Weichai engine, a Fast transmission and heavy-duty wheel-side reduction axles. The cargo boxes are reinforced with high-strength steel, enabling the vehicles to adapt to complex working conditions such as mining operations, road construction and urban muck transportation in Tanzania.

"Although these are used trucks, they are in excellent condition. Our technical team has conducted comprehensive inspections and maintenance on the engines, hydraulic systems, brake systems and electrical circuits, and replaced tires, filters and wearing parts. The clients were highly satisfied with the cost performance of the vehicles during inspection," the person in charge stated. Tanzania is the second-largest economy in East Africa. This order includes a total of 10 units of HOWO 8×4 dump trucks. Among them, 8 units were registered between 2019 and 2020 with a mileage ranging from 80,000 to 120,000 kilometers, and the other 2 units are 2021 models in better condition. All vehicles have obtained export licenses, pre-shipment inspection (CIQ) certificates and certification documents issued by the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS). The vehicles will be transported from Liangshan to Qingdao Port by low-bed trailers, and then loaded onto bulk carriers for shipment to Dar es Salaam Port, with an ocean transit time of approximately 25 to 30 days.

The customer stated that upon arrival at the port, the vehicles will be deployed for lithium ore transportation in the Tabora region and construction sites around Dar es Salaam. They also plan to purchase an additional 20 used dump trucks of the same model in the follow-up.
